As an aside that's the 4th game I've seen this season where Slimani has come back on to the pitch after a nice 20-30 minute rest, and always with a mysterious out of nowhere injury when the scrum is starting to lose a bit of dominance. Surely this needs to be seriously looked at.

So, Picamoles, JJ, Pisi, here we come.
Love guys like Farrell, Heffernan, etc. Shoud have gametime next season. But doubt they can avoid an annoying result, kind of Munster outcome...

I know it's clutching at straws, but maybe a higher chance that Saints would underestimate a potential big performance from us, whereas Gloucester know us fairly well, saying that I think I'd prefer Kingsholm

so come on Glouc for tonight! I know some would not want them again.
But as a fan I want the "less-worse" for Connacht. Nearly no chance we defeat Northampton away, a slighly bigger one in Gloucester.

Two of the last 8 big games though were keeping our powder dry for the playoff. It doesn't make the stats much better though

I know what you're getting at - we probably haven't a rashers next week. Last season against rest of the top 6 we were 6 wins from 10 (or 8/12 including the playoffs).

Lucky Northampton aren't top 6 opposition then! ;-)

Hah true, I was just trying to give a perspective of our performance in "big" games this year. If you include the games against Wasps and Toulouse, our record in "big" away games is played 8 won 0, average score 12.5-28.63, average tries scored/conceded 1.38/3.5 respectively.

Hartley of Northampton got 6 weeks for a no-arm high tackle, and Bundee 3 for words? Out of proportion, and they know very well he won't play the 2nd play-off as we will struggle even more to pass the 1st without our best player.

Except, ya know, the first Discipline Panel were all Welsh and the Appeal Panel were all Scottish...
It's not a conspiracy

I know that very well, doesn't change anything. Connacht have not enough reputation and budget to get their invitation card. in the "inner circle".
1 year out of 2 is more than enough for them

It isn't often I can think of no response to something in anyway... Yet here we are...
Wow

Blow for Connacht as Bundee Aki will definitely miss Champions Cup play-off semi-final the42.ie/3383017

And then there's the small matter of Hartley having missed the last Lions tour due to an 11 week ban for ... guess what?
