There's no chance he'll be in the team for the Saracen's game is there?
Wouldn't be surprised to see him on the bench. I would actually like him to be in the XV he could kick and take that responsibility off Parks who isn't in form at the moment.

Good news...but as a flanker. Must be shome mishtake.
Aah now I get it. My mistake.

mick has speed and i remember a quick cross field 22drop out from parks last season that kearney made 60metres before being stopped.
he's 6ft 5 and 17 stone 8lbs,so would be a powerful centre.
came on for clontarf and scored, replaced number 6!
potterbelly or anyone else see or hear about this?
No can't see this being true. He put on a lot of bulk in the last year or 2 which took some of his pace, but that wasn't an issue for 2nd row.
He is a highly promising lock and played a good bit there last season, remember he started in the win v Biarritz.
Also, he played lock in the Eagles game v Munster this year

rossie wrote: yep and that's 8. Ruddock wud be 9. First choice back row with everyone fit is POM, TOD + coghlan with CJ on bench. Ruddock would be back up to POM at 6 if he comes. He was supposed to come last summer but changed his mind at last minute AFAIK.
Coughlan is 33 AFAIK so coming to the end. A very good 8 still tho and hugely underated outside of Munster.
ya agree re Coughlan and the fact he is only on the pro scene a few years means he prob still has a couple of good years left in him after this season

rossie wrote: CJ won't be going anywhere. I expect him to have a big Heineken cup this season. One of the Leinster boys might be an option. With heaslip and jordi on their books there won't be many chances. Butler of Munster is another option. Rumour around TP last night was that Ruddock would be a Munster player next season
Munster don't need Ruddock
In terms of back row they have
Coughlan
Ronan
Stander
Dougall
Butler
O Donnell
O Callaghan
O Mahony

Is is just me or has George bulked down over the summer? He seems to be hitting opponents at same speed but ends up going backwards. AFAIK George is contracted till end of 2014/2015 in any case. Also Stander arrived at munster 11 months ago on a 2 year contract so wont be IQ till 2015.
He seems smaller alright but I don't know by how much. As for Eoghan Masterson how old is he?
