He was unequivocal when we asked him to come to Connacht and present him with a mini Connacht flag after all. He e said 'I will put this on my bedroom wall'. Time to call that in

Can't remember where I put that beermat that Thomas Laranjeira signed his contract on last year. I presume that is still legally binding.

Looking at his stats - it looks like he has only one game of Pro 12 rugby under his belt at 25. I know props are late developers but definitely seems like a bargain signing or squad signing to me. I saw Aly Muldowney was tweeting pictures of him being out with Denis Coulson saying good bye etc, if his case in France has being put to bed I wonder can we expect an announcement on that front.
The announcement on Connacht's website says he played 4 times in the pro12 this season, and also started against the Maori All Blacks. Not sure why he wasn't capped before this season though.
I agree though, less excited about this than I would (hopefully will?) be about Coulson. The fact that it's a one year deal suggests to me that they're taking a punt on him, but then Carey was similar so who knows?

25-year-old McCabe spent a short time training with Connacht as part of a loan deal in January but was recalled by Munster Rugby in February to start in the front row against Edinburgh in the Guinness PRO12
Good to add depth to a weak position, really hope we have bring in another loosehead though. Buckley, AN Other, McCabe, with Bealham, Carey and McCoy on the other side and Cooney covering both, and a few lads to hopefully push through from the academy, should do nicely.
