Don't think anything has been signed yet with Ulster. If he knows we want him then he might fancy his chances and not have to compete with Bowe, Trimble, Gilroy and Olding (to a lesser extent)

If we sign Cochrane, I would tend to convert TOH as 15 and Henshaw prepared to cover the 12/13 slots, if McSharry/Tonetti/Griffin are injured

Don't think the Sinoti deal will happen. The last NIQ spot is likely going to a flanker who Lam is trying to recruit. We're looking at Cochrane for a winger spot but I'm not sure if the deal is done.

Lam making a big impression so far and has even had one on one sit downs with academy players. Seems determined to give a few young guys their chance and very keen to play ball in hand rugby.

Fetu gone to Exeter. All the best to him, delighted he proved me wrong after I called him a flop halfway through last season. If there hadn't been a RWC last year we could have had him for pre-season and settled quicker. I'll have a soft spot for the Chiefs now.

The thing that must be remembered as well is that these decisions on contracts are often made in January/February or even before that

As well as Fets has played in the last few weeks, chances are it was decided he was going to be cut long before this.

This is for the simple reason that in order to find the best replacement at the best price you have to go into the market early and negotiations can be protracted. If we left it til now and Fets hadn't come good, chances are we'd get a dud of a replacement.

Any idea when Sinoti will be confirmed ?? Probably leave it until after the weekend due to what happens friday night.
