Can't have been watching too closely then to be honest.
Think everyone has to take into account firstly they guy was playing AIL2 as at most a semi-pro, and has forced his way into our back-line and not looked out of place at all in his first pro season.
He's committed in the tackle, a good communicator and positive with the ball, and he's got that crucial in short supply ingredient we were hoping to get back with Fionn...
GAS - the man is absolutely rapid....
A year with Mils to provide some back three play nuggets can only bring him on further, and the clincher is it's his first full pro contract so he'll be on a liveable but not remarkable salary...

3 things that have impressed me about Niyi:
3) General attitude - for instance his speed and willingness to chase make even the worst box kick or kickoff into a decent one. Lots of work areas to improve on, but, similar to Healy for instance, you feel he has the intelligence and determination to get better.
2) His read and hit on Sean Cronin against Leinster. Put himself out of the game but stopped a try.
1) His assist for McKeon against Dragons, it'd make a BOD highlight reel: beat 2, drew 2, one-handed offload out of the tackle, walk-in for McKeon.

Does someone think the 5 minutes he played after his injury were really detrimental on the recovery lenght?
Saw it with Heenan in the first game. Got injured, stayed on, and it's possible that the extra few minutes caused further damage
Jay tore his cruciate. Don't think playing on would have made any difference. maybe it was the case in Heenans. A buddy of mine was talking to Jake a few weeks back. recovery going well. On course for return to training in January.

She seems to be really making the point how happy she is
Bundee seems to be complaining about the weather every second day
If he doesn't see out his 3years I hope there's a term and conditions in his contract that he has to pay back every penny he earns.

A few lads standing behind us were talking to my missus about it. You know the saying "happy wife/happy life", judging by her Twitter account she's over the moon........to be back home. There could be trouble ahead.
Hmm its always the danger when someone comes in from the other side of the world. Lets hope this doesn't end the same way as James So'oialo and Thomas Timani!!
Luckily there's a good Kiwi contingent around and having someone like Mils around will be a good sounding board for him but in all honesty he's signed a 3 year contract on good money. You have a good idea what you are getting yourself and your family into. If you aren't 100% sure sign a one year deal and re-evaluate at the end of the season.
