I'd happily keep him for another year, if the price is right. Wouldn't want to have him as a top earner of anything like that

Predicted that a while ago, any of the other provinces would love to have him, best TH in the country imo. Botha surely on the way out, Archer barely up to standard and what comes after that who knows. Would hate to see him leave, hopefully he's not interested, he's established and well liked here and connacht are going places, Munster can't offer him more money than us and they don't look that likely to start winning trophies in the next 2-3 years imo.

Fionn and Miah, sadly, should be released
Unless we sign an experienced ten I would honestly keep Miah. He's I.Q. and seems content to be playing third string. Can't imagine he's on huge money either. None of the other academy outhalves are anyway near ready so I'd keep him for another season at least.
Fionn is a different scenario. He's on good money I'd say and it's a position we're strong in. Unless he can show some form in the next few weeks then maybe it is time for him to leave with the likes of Panther or Gaffney given a a chance to show what they can do.
Of course it was implied we are signing a 10 at the level of our backline. Obvious it's the staff priority for me, but who knows, incredible error/issue preventing anything to be done can happen...

Robbie Henshaw committed to Connacht and gunning for Ireland jersey

Babbling Brook's 'Rumour Mill' should make interesting reading over the next few days...
He hasn't committed to anything in fairness.

Payne to Leinster!... no, wait, that was last season. Is it time we started a Madigan to Connacht rumour? It's a done deal you know, with [insert fringe player here] going in the opposite direction.

This isn't really an issue of Leinster poaching though, or of IRFU "hamstring us" - if he want's to go I see no issue with it
I think it is a silly move though, he is 23, he should sign a 2 year deal and continue getting first team rugby here. If he want's to move at 25 when he would prob be guaranteed selection (basing this on his development trajectory) then off ya go and good luck (he is a Dublin lad after all)
Whole thing seems like an Ian Keatley to Munster kind of move. Few years down the line prob make first team but why move and sit on bench till then when can stay and play
Your right that its ultimately his decision but the IRFU sign the cheques, and they should see its better for Ireland that Kearney gets first team rugby at Connacht than be a bit part behind more established internationals at Leinster. Its not a good use of national resources. Unless Aus have a secret deal with Douglas to allow him play in the WC (not sure if this is the case or not) then he will be available for that time so Leinster will only lose Toner in second row? That's not a good enough reason for Leinster to bring in Connacht players for a few months cover when it would leave us with two senior locks only.
