phatguerilla wrote: Great news about the props, really thought at least one if not two of those might move on, if we can retain all our key players and add a couple more in the second/back row and possibly 10 then we'll be really well set next season.
Exactly. We are all focused on this season at the moment but I'm sure Pat and those above will be thinking what a great chance next season presents with the World Cup on. We will lose 2 or 3 players to the World Cup I'd imagine, others will lose far more, retaining key personnel in the squad is key as everyone will be on the look out for lads to fill the squads for next season.
We haven't been that well set for previous World Cups to take advantage but this time around we should be. I know we have enough to worry about in the present but it will be a chance to build up a few good results hopefully and we should have more time together as a squad than the others will have.

Piece here about quinn roux but the most interesting part is matt o Connor saying that he probably won't send a player on loan again.
Interesting choice of words, he uses "down there" when referring to Connacht on a number of occasions. also fails to acknowledge the fact that Cooney was injured and Leinster were using us as a way of helping him to recuperate as given their SH numbers he was never going to get a look in at the level he needed to play at.
He makes it sound as if Connacht got one over on them with Roux when its obvious that they didn't want or need him.
Strange way with words MOC, its as if he wants people to dislike him.
Wouldn't worry about O'Connor, I'm sure his replacement will be perfectly amenable...

Courage is knowing what lies on the other side and still opening the door.

Superb piece of business. I was very afraid Munster would come sniffing fir White; in fact if they weren't, someone wasn't doing his job. Relieved.

Brilliant news
It's great news. I love Dave
Hope he can stay injury free. Can't believe that he's only 24. Was at his Connacht debut against Ulster in Ravenhill in 2011, and he won Connacht player of the Game, and Connacht defensive player of the game.
Very friendly, approachable lad too

Lam: "They are both young, abrasive locks who have real physical presence. I believe with continued game time and exposure at this level, they have the potential to play for Ireland in the near future."
