hope your premonition doesn't come true
Well with Trump elected I might just be right
Grab two of each animal and head for the hills. The end is nigh! the end is nigh!
By all accounts to most americans the world has ended. Maybe not in the literal sense, but in the figurative sense. So assuming you're comment was so intended you can still be considered correct. With Niyi on the bench you would suspect that TOH is expected to last the game. So I'm looking forward to seeing him and Niyi showing how it should be done towards the end of the game when Niyi makes his entrance. Fingers crossed on that. Absolutely thrilled for Niyi. Well deserved
We'll say figuratively until the nukes go of!
Can't wait to see the lads togged out for Ireland. They deserve it, I feel sorry for Buckley he'd definitely be starting here if not for injury

This is why I think he always plays poorly after an international tour/call up - spends weeks in the presence of a coach who doesn't seem to rate him. Absolutely Murray was magnificent at the weekend but if Marmion only sees a few minutes against NZ in Dublin when the games already done he'll come back to us like a drain yet again.
Zebo used to be the same. I think people who play on instinct would not thrive under Joe's tuition

If Earls is allowed to play v Maoris then maybe Niyi will get a start but I say it will be back 3 of Earls, Gilroy and TOH.
One would hope Bealham and Dillane will get to start in the pack if the XV that started against NZ is given the weekend off like expected
Your probably right wp_rathead. Probably Ringrose in the centre also. And what does such a team achieve. If they win, well they should have won, if they lose, well it proves the gap between our starting 15 and this redundant team. What bothers me the most is the lack of willingness to make that small change, to provide the opportunity for up and coming players to make that leap. While last weekend was a milestone it was also disappointing in certain elements. First up I would not have replaced Murray with Marmion. I do see a gap in ability here. However I do not see a gap with Ringrose and Carbery. I believe they are the real deal. But Joe will not do this other than when absolutely necessary. I suspect Carbery will be on the bench for the next AB game and that is progress. Its slow progress but its progress. Sexton will always be Nr 1 versus Carbery under Joe's rule and that's a shame. I suspect (as many have said for donkeys) that Zebo will retain the wing as he is a much better winger than fullback and that's a positive development. So there has been positives but Joe is stuck in his way which can be disappointing for those who wish to see our game and players develop. Now that he has become omnipotent it could become more difficult to shift his shadow on Irish rugby.

Frustrating indeed, but Murray's performance was stunning and no way could he have been replaced. Hopefully K will start vs. Canada, with Luke on the bench.

NZ have called up Brody Retallick into the travelling squad so certainly expect their setpiece to improve, they could be without 2 of their centers not sure who they have called up as eplacements
