Connors would make it two in three out in the back row, so there may be another signing there.
If Fitzgerald is coming we won't be signing a 5th ten. Likewise we have 4 nines (we're keeping Conor McKeon aren't we) so we're full there.
If MaxiMaw (not going to try to even spell it right) is coming we won't be signing an eighth lock.

As it stands we have only 9 senior front rows (including Delahunt & O'Donnell), so we need a minimum of 2 to have the 11 required for the EPCR squad. Given the squad numbers (I make it 42 if the three named above join) then two front rows may be all we sign.

then back-up 4th choice prop and hooker for J.P Cooney and O'Toole, must be on low money and IQ (like Rory Burke, Jonny Murphy, Diarmuid Barron or Craig Treiner)

Exactly, we all love the team and want the players to excel, but sometimes for any numbers of reasons it just doesn't work out. Fans should never forget that these are ordinary fellas often with families to provide for and playing is what puts food on their plates and pays the bills, and it can be a ruthless process. Fingers crossed they all find clubs or move on to something else which suits them.

Thanks Bazzo, much appreciated. Its always tough to see some players leave. However it's when you see "no club confirmed" that you hope that those young men who have worked so hard and put their bodies through so much over the years are not left in a wilderness of no contract. At the opposite end of of course you have lad's moving on to greater things. However I'm sure we are all agreed that we we wish them all the best and thank them for their service.

Delahunt was AMAZING today - Absolute Class!!

Is it possible Delahunt was in a 2 year deal as well? Unlikely considering how little he'd played for us and who his signing was announced with I know.

Should be out starting hooker next year no doubt and if he maintains form he has a clear run at Irish contention too IMO.

Nabbed is the key word, he is absolutely not a cast-off. Leinster won’t be happy if true, with Leavy, VdF and O’Brien all constantly injured or in Ireland duty he would have gotten a lot of game time.
