Godwin sees himself as a 12 ... I wonder had KK said thats where he would be playing?

I was impressed by the whole team handling.
Boyle really stood out for me.
I got the feeling after each tackle he made he was saying to himself "who's next"
.
I really think he could be the guy to take up the roll as the second player like Ali did in 2016.
He looked very hungry. I think he could be a great signing

[quwote="Mark Mostyn" post=62496]Murray i Kinsella singled Godwin and Boyle out for praise, his opinion is definitely one I respect.

Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

Buckley Thornbury, SOB, Roux,
we can hope for one "surprise" inclusion in the 32 travelling to Japan
3 out of 32 (Bundee and Marms are nailed on) would be reasonable...
a 4th (Copeland, Farrell, Dillane or TOH) is unlikely, except injury crisis

Good Kieran Joyce isn't mentioned, should be low-grade concussion
But guys, where the hell SOB is? not on the trainning pics, not on the injury update...

On Craggy Rugby, Packie said that Thornbury was up at Irish Squad session, wonder if SOB2 is/was also...?
Wouldn't surprise me given his positional flexibility if Joe wasn't bringing more players in to widen the pool of players who know his systems a year out from the RWC...

Yeah, what's that about? I got the impression he had come back to training pretty out of shape (again based on some of his own insta posts), so a trip to NZ now doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I'm sure an explanation will emerge fairly soon.

Agreed , I would expect that even if the national players game time is being managed they would still be expected to be training with the provinces.
