No I'm not mad. It's Alex Mitchell, younger brother who might well rejoin the firstborn!

As I said on Board yesterday:
Godwin is above all a centre
he played there for Australia and Brumbies
he's using his sidesteps better here
The pairing with Farrell is functionning absolutely great
so it would be a huge mistake to keep him in the fridge as 23
Main composition (without Aki) should be 12 Farrell 13 Godwin 23 Daly
Then if something happen to one of the remaining back-3 guys in the end of a game, Godwin moves to the wing and Daly comes in for him in midfield

Say it quietly but I think Farrell + Godwin have been our best pairing this year

Although, I do remember a few years ago where there were half a dozen guys warming up as kickers at each game. That was when we had no kicker in form and everyone was just having a go. That wasn't a good place to be.

If you have loads of kicking options then the quality isn't good enough to begin with. Not picking on players, just an opinion that you're diluting the quality and you've no stand out primary option

Happy enough with that. He obviously has potential for Leinster to stick with him through years of injuries. Will be interesting to see what he can do if he gets a few games under his belt.
Hopefully he remains injury free, he's had a difficult time. Also, I think he use to take the kicks for Ireland under 20's if I remember rightly, so perhaps another option for kicking for us - you can never have too many kickers.

Why not?
He's gone to the darkside, aka Dancing With The Stars RFC. Otherwise, great idea, it'd be like getting scrumhalf cover and a specialist scrumhalf coach all in one.

Why not?
Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.

The other way I think
NIQ SH on a 2-month-deal before Super Rugby
IQ back-three signed over for next season too (A.Byrne, Keenan, Lydon...)
Don’t think any Super Rugby contracted players will be going on loan during their pre season. I’m sure there are some NRC/mitre 10 guys without pro deals who could do a job.
I can’t see us getting either of the two Leinster guys on loan, however I’d be happy to see us sign either next season. Lydon is a 15, we have more of a need on the wing IMO. We have O’Halloran and Leader at fullback and Kelleher/Healy as cover.
