But. In this instance the rumour in question is that Bundee and Ultan are re-signing....for Connacht. Facecuttr was very careful to hyphenate the term.

Don't get so worked up about it. It's a forum where people discuss rumours, recruitment and general operation of the team. If you don't like what people say don't read it or reply. I only asked a question. Like I have done for the last 5 years on here.

What is a genuine supporter? I ask this as I could be called not a genuine supporter under some conditions. I don't live in Connaught anymore I'm in Dublin but I still have a season ticket, I go to the odd away match that I can. I like to talk to Connacht fans about things that may or may not happen regarding players for next season and even the possible starting lineup. I wonder aloud about the stadium and have my own ideas of what is best.

But every year more and more people will want to follow and support Connacht and if people have an attitude (not saying you do) that because I supported Connacht for longer or better then they won't stay. And we'll be back to averaging 2,500 for matches again

My opinion has no effect on your supporter status in any way. I simply can't understand why anyone claiming to be a supporter would wish to repeat completely ethereal floaters from other vested interests whose repitition anywhere is not in the best interest of our team. Let unsubstantiated floaters from vested interests rightlyfully starve of oxygen. You wouldn't go around rewriting unsubstantiated stuff on public walls that referred to anything you thought might not be positive for the company you worked for. Im annoyed I even have to explain this in a certain way if thats understandable

This is paranoid in the extreme, but I for one welcome such old-skool chip-on-both-shoulders posts. Seriously, we wouldn't want to be getting soft, now, would we?

For the record there as many posts saying Dillane is going as staying on boards, though the "go" "source" is the same one that previously said Heenan had signed for Munster and we'd signed a Kiwi lock. So all I can tell you for sure is there is at least one alternate universe in which Heenan and Dillane are wearing red next year.

Mate , It's a supporters forum. I don't see anything wrong with Connacht fans speculating on a Connacht fans forum.

Speculation of sources close to camp is that both Aki and Dillane are about to gladly resign for numerous years any day now as Connacht Rugby is their heartbeat and they bleed green like our Connacht rugby eternal soul Pat Lam

Can some Connacht fans just stop themselves from repeating purposefully floated rumours from outsiders who don't have anything better to do than speculate or others with more hostile intentions. Please engage your brain and don't aid them by repeating any of it at any time anywhere
