Leader was unfortunate to see yellow, but Clancy was not left much choice after warning Connacht and then the info he got from the TMO. It was good it didn't cost Connacht much after the initial try. As Sol_ie said defense was immense. You figure if a team earns a try bonus point you would be talking up the offense & the backs in particular, but it was down to the defense and the pack. Who had Muldoon down for top try scorer this year? The man bleeds green.

Here's hoping this run continues, it's amazing it's happening with the likes of Clarke, Heenan and Poolman out.

Thought our entire pack was immense today, our line out stats were huge for the entire game. The level to which we were dominant in the scrum was shocking, never seen an entire front row get replaced so early! Thought marmion and parks went well today, a few dodgy kicks from dan aside.

The backs were a little bit quieter. Robbie and griffin had solid games, you could tell that Fionn (fee hawn, to the welsh) was itching to make a break. Leader was solid too, can't be blamed for his sending off.

Defence was immense, enforced errors were kept low enough.

19/20. I'll take it.

Anyone know if Dave McSharry is badly injured?

It was McSharry who went off and I heard one the welsh commentators say it was with concussion. No idea how bad it is.

Just finished watching it on TG4.

Anyone know if Dave McSharry is badly injured? I think it was him that was replaced quite early by Daragh Leader.

I think Clancy had a very inconsistent game, but wouldn't blame him at all for the yellow card on Leader, as others said, that lies with the TMO who was really poor.

Delighted with result, 19 points out a possible twenty, who'd a thunk it.

I'm in two minds about the yellow but, eh guys, we just won four in a row, three TBPs in a row, two away wins out of those. So who gives a crap!

I thought Leader's yellow was much the same as Sidoli's - fairly innocuous penalty, but straight after the ref had issued a general warning to the team.

I'd have no complaints with Clancy. Thought the TMO was just looking to punish us - was he the comedian from the Scarlets Munster game a few weeks back?

TMO was just didn't want to have to end up making a decision himself. Kept asking Clancy if he had seen it himself, and then ended up stuttering to a half decision himself which was up to Clancy to decipher. Clancy heard "taken out in the air" and after warning Connacht about persistent infringements, he was always going to send Darragh to the bin. Was it right, no, but not Clancy's fault in my opinion.

I would be sure that the Dragons fans will be giving out about some of Clancy's decisions today as well. Were marginal though.

questionable penalty, the TMO didn't explian at all to the ref what happened. also for the dragons try the ref asked the TMO was the welsh no. 7 off-side, the TMO never responded to clancy's request.

Nonsense, it probably was a penalty but the Dragons player was backing into him and Leader made every effort but in no way could get out of the way. It wasn't like it was a case of Connacht killing the ball or pulling down a maul when a yellow would have been justified, it was a completely accidental penalty which if common sense was used would have been just a penalty.

The TMO asked him had he seen it and he said no when he was standing a yard away from it. Not even the Dragons supporters (who were shouting for everything) were shouting for a penalty or yellow card.

Thankfully it had no real effect on the game unlike the officials in the Munster v Treviso game who screwed Treviso over.

6 nations last weekend, bonus point away today! When do I have to wake up from this dream?

Having said that no team has left Dragons this season in the league with a bonus point win or indeed denying them a losing bonus point.

Dragons 2 home defeats in the league were against Leinster and Munster, by just 4 points each time. Also, last night Munster struggled against Treviso, a team we put away easily in similarly filthy weather.

We shouldn't have a hope at Scarlets, and even if we beat them we have a horrific run-in with games against 3 of the top 4 in our last 4 games, but I'm starting to hope!

Leader made an effort to stop and the Dragon player landed on him. It was entirely accidental and in no way malicious. Yes we were on a warning but sending off a player who actively try's not to engage a player should not be yellow carded. A penalty yes but if Clancy had any brains he could have let that one go (by saying it was accidental) and pinged us for the next one. So yes the criticism is warranted imo. The video ref also deserves criticism for not having the brains/balls to communicate to Clancy that it was accidental.

Great win and best performance of the weekend by an Irish team. Hopefully they can back it up next weekend against Scarlets. Pity the playoff system for next season isn't in now. On this form they could match any 7th team in England or France.
6th place is all on next week IMO. Win and its all on. I think its between scarlets and Connacht now. Edinburgh have 2 games in hand. 1 is away to Glasgow though and AFAIK other is away also.
