Agree his ITM season hasn't been inspirational but doubt if he'll be released early. Mathematically they can still qualify for playoffs but highly unlikely. Otherwise his last game is Oct12th - less than 3 weeks away.clanman wrote: I would'nt be surprise if he had been released already.
Although a little further up table Auckland's Tom McCartney is also unlikely to feature in playoffs. He's been playing 90 mins for most of the games. He played very little Super rugby this year - Played in the Singapore 10's tournament in June. - so his season hasn't as long as Bundees.

You bet your backside it does. All contracts are actually with the IRFU rather than the individual branch.
They can't stop anyone playing international though. Not even Mourad Boudjellal can do that.

Getting a bit ahead of yourself there? I know he had a good game at the weekend but he would still be behind Glasgow's Al Kellock, Johnny Gray, Tim Swinson and after that utility options like Rob Harley, Josh Strauss and possibly by the six nations the up and coming Andy Redmayne.
Of course if Muldowney can put in another impressive performance at the coming weekend and keep any and all of the above quiet, then he could become of interest to the Scots.

Anyway, whatever the precise day, the main point is : YES he can be selected for November tests :woohoo: That's what you implied, no?
Yep. You'd hope to see him in the Wolfhounds squad at the very least.

While, not the same lifestyle, bonds between Ireland and France are reasonably strong. I wonder are there any potential French players, either on the way up or on the way down that could play a role in Connacht, especially in the forwards?

I added it to the links on the hompage. That weblink submission thing isn't actually working for most people at the minute but I'll try and sort it.
