    Leinster overcame Racing 15-12 in a campaign that saw them beat the top 2 teams in both the Premiership and Top14 on their way to Champions Cup glory in Bilbao.

    Meanwhile Cardiff Blues completed a dramatic fightback against Gloucester to win 31-30 on Friday night and claim the Challenge Cup.

    Looking forward to coming up against them both next season.

    And we're BACKK!! The first Connacht match of the 2018/2019 season sees Connacht take on Glasgow at the Sportsgound at 3pm on Saturday.

    Join the Clan for what is sure to be a cracking season opener.

    Join the Connacht Clan in the Sportsground this Friday, when Connacht take on Edinburgh. It's the final Pro14 game before the knockout phases of  the Challenge Cup, but there's still plenty to play for in the Pro 14. We will be in the Clan Bar for the usual player interview post match!

    The Connacht Clan is running a bus from Galway for the upcoming fixture v Wasps in Dubary Park on August 18th.

    It will depart from the Bus Stop on Eyre Square @ 1 pm Sharp on Saturday.

  • The Connacht Clan are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Leighton Turner. Leighton was a founder and served as first President of the Connacht Clan.

    The thoughts of the Committee of the Connacht Clan, and of the great Connacht Rugby family, are with Leightons friends and family, and especially with his brother Aaron who served a Committee Member for many years.


    Reposing at Cassadh an Taoille, Currane on Friday evening from 6 o clock with removal to Our Lady Queen of the Universe Church, Currane arriving at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday morning at 11am with burial afterwards in Polranny Cemetery.
