So as you all know The Connacht Clan is a volunteer organisation. We represent you guys as fans of Connacht. Even if you are not a member your interest in Connacht Rugby means that we want to make sure that your opinion counts.

This entire board is devoted to any ideas or criticism that ye want to raise. The hope is that we can have totally open and honest discussion about what is working and what is not working. If you have a great idea to share with us we'd love to hear it.

Even better, if you have a couple of hours free a week and have an idea that you think you could implement with the help of the rest of the Connacht Clan then volunteer yourself! If we think it's a good one we'll all row in behind you and help make it a reality.

I dont know if it would work, but I like the idea of an intimidating clap building up to the Connacht players taking the field.
Sounds odd, I know, but if people were in sync. rather than everyone just clapping, it gives a great "thundering" sound.

I love this idea.  I've heard it done among various fan bases across various sports, and it's brilliant.

Hey Diom.

This forum is great, and in general I much prefer it to the rugby network one. There is one rugby network feature I'm missing though, and that is the way it shows which posts within a thread are new. I know this forum allows me to see which threads have new posts since my last visit, but it doesn't show which posts within the thread are new, if you get me?!

Very minor issue, but thought I'd mention it.

Thanks!

If you click on the little orange "NEW" badge from the page showing all the threads, it should automatically jump you to the new posts, with the newest one at the top of your screen.

Didn't even know you could do that! :) Good work Breifne!

id like if a topic had more than one page that it would go to the last one instead off going to page 1 first and then you had to go to the lastest one

Small suggestion: if possible when you click on "previous" it goes to any previous posts. But when there are no newer posts when you click on "previous" goes to the oldest post in the forum.
WOuld it be possible to go out of the newest thread and back to the forum when clicking on "previous" and there is nothing newer to go to?
Sorry for longwinded explanation.

Are you talking about the previous and next at the end of the forum threads OS? They take you to different threads and it just seems to loop back to the end I think.

That's exactly it. On the old site, when you got to the newest thread it didn't loop back to the oldest one, it went to thread board if that makes sense.
Just a suggestion. Not sure what others think.

I'll check it out, but not sure if it's possible without changing the code that the forum runs on.

You''d probably need Eddie to co-ordinate it as he could be lined up in front of the Tunnel to set the tempo as the players lineup to come out....
