See the post above your one :)

I had modified the alias of the forum links while trying to get the menu to work. Not sure it made a difference but I'm not going to mess with it now. So yeah you will have to update your bookmark. Sorry about that!

The url for the forum has changed since the upgrade, you'll need to edit your bookmark so that it goes to connachtclan.com/clan-forum

If you bookmark the forum however, you miss out on everything else on the site.
There is a "latest posts" feed on the main page that shows the recent forum posts so might be better to bookmark the homepage.

On the Comments displaying for article (e.g. NG Dragons article up recently), is there a way to reverse index them so that the newest is top rather than having to scroll down and possibly onto extra pages to see new ones..?

There has been some debate on that exact topic amongst the Tech Triumvirate (myself, Pinky and Dec)... The plugin we are using ties in directly to the forum and some of the options are limited. We can actually display the content in either "direction".
Personally I like being able to read over the current discussion in the "correct order", but I know that others prefer to see the latest first. What I'm going to try over the weekend is to enable more options in the plugin itself (hide the comments, truncate long posts, etc...) and will have a look to see if users can set the sort order themselves.

Initially I felt the same way as Seapoint, but I tried reversing the order and it made no sense and was very hard to follow. Unlike typical comments the forum posts are always addressing the last few posts rather than the article itself.

Ye might have noticed a new section on the bottom left of the home page for "Connacht News Online", which is just a place for links to Connacht-related stories on other sites.
Anyone who is logged in should be able to add a link to this. Just go to the "Clan News" menu and select "Weblink Submission" (you won't see the option unless logged in).
Paste the title of the article into the Title field and the web address into URL. Make sure "Connacht News on the Web" is selected as the "Category" (I think that is the only option available for most people anyway). Then hit Save. No need to fill out any of the other fields.
Give a shout if this isn't working for anyone.

I totally forgot about this and I'm not in a position to look at it until next week. ... If I remember

Doesn't work I'm afraid (as attached), asking for users to login which I assume is some sort of Admin Login as it doesn't accept Forum details...?

Heads up for users as well, under the new forum version (unlike previous version).
When you attach an image you have to insert the image into the message for it to be viewable...

So Add File the image file, and then click Insert

OK, cheers for the feedback S_P. I'll take a look at it this evening. I thought I had it set up for all registered users but that probably doesn't mean what I think it means. Out of interest, does the "Article Submission" option work for you?
