Fourdogs, your post went up before my edit. Yep, they're not cheap.
Would we be looking for something that size? Might be as well to get some largeish size flags. I know that the Connacht have large flags for 10 or 15 quid. Obviously bulk is a factor there, but we'll have to wait adn see.

Here is an idea.
The business packs have 2 large flags in each pack 2 1/2ft x 5ft.
If we got 2 of thes packs and got the flags stitched together we could have a Banner of 5ft x 10ft
5 packs would give us enough for a banner nearly 8ft x 15ft

connacht rugby have posted pictures of the clan bar, with astro turf on the floor. dont know the thinking behind this but its slightly cool.
they should really get more drink in the bar, heineken seems to be keeping alot of people away plus i had to give up beer so im one of the 8 customers there for games vs zebre, cardiff etc.
lads ill bring a rugby ball for the glasgow game and we can have a 3 aside game

I think we need to devote some serious wall space in the Clan Bar to last weekend's efforts.
In fact I would nearly rename the "Changing Room" area to "Salle Ernest Wallon".
I have a match poster that a girl in the Stade Toulousain shop let me take.
Also a copy of 10 Sport that they were giving out free on the way in that bears the delicious headline "En Route Vers La Victoire".
I'm sure other people have some intersting trinkets in addition to the pennant, scarf, etc we swapped with Le Huit.
The poster is 70x50cm. I will keep an eye out for a suitable frame.

Good stuff lads. Bring it along and we'll get it up there (hopefully). There has been some serious delays in getting all of our stuff back up there but we are making progress.

Howdy Lads,
We need some ladders for use in attaching things to the wall of the bar. Preferably one that will reach the roof, but will accept anything at this stage. We were planning on heading up there about 6pm this evening.
Let me know if you can help. Would be much appreciated.

Ah no, the one day I head home, I would of loved to help. Pity I'm here drinking a pint
Put Declan on Shanes shoulders, you won't need a ladder.

Funny man, there.
(I suggested it. El Presidente shot it down. Something about 'inherently unsafe', 'completely illegal', 'Shane, you'd fall over on a wet footpath')

To be fair 4D, this is at least our 5th time in getting the bar done. We (and this is very much the royal we!) helped paint (mainly Aaron), fit and tested the PA (mainly Barry), refit and retested the PA (after the whole 'smoking amp' incident), and have hung and framed the rest of the stuff in stages. We're still not entirely done, mind, and any other memorabilia people want to donate will be gratefully appreciated!
The Quins jersey has pride of place, of course!

I have a poster for the Toulouse away game, including the vital bit about the free ski pass with every ticket scavenged. I think 4D said he had a frame for it at some point.
I think an area of wall with some memorabilia from that trip and a bit of a photo-montage or some such would look good.

We have the jersey and scarf framed and mounted (which looks brilliant), see pic above. We have a flag from le huit up on the wall also, which also looks good. But yep, the more the merrier. We've plenty of wall space left.
