Glasgow match is going ahead on Saturday. That will be some emotional event. I should be able to catch it in the pub before I start the journey to Parma.

Yeah it sure will, in some respects I really don't envy the players/coaches it's very soon after Axel's passing.
But I'm sure he wouldn't have wanted anything else than the Rugby to continue, he was never really one for the fuss...

I was lucky to meet him in the residents bar in Hilton in Cardiff after the 2003 6N win over Wales (ROG's first Drop Goal drama in Cardiff), that set up a Grand Slam game in Dublin vs England.
Even with the bedlam going on around him after Ireland had snuck a great win 24-25 at the death, he came across as a very composed individual perfectly friendly and not at all self-aware...

I'll be passing Thomond Park Friday morning so will stop and pay my respects there. Would it be too much to leave a small Connacht flag? I never know about these things..

Saw a picture of it earlier and nearly sure there was a Leinster flag there so think a Connacht flag would be a nice touch..

Nice one menace
Personally, I think it's a very thoughtful gesture, and gestures is all we can do..
