Might be a bit early for this but I enjoyed typing in the subject so much :-)
We're now guaranteed to have more points than the third placed team in Conference B (Treviso or Edinburgh) so unless that team can win an away QF in Thomond or Scotstoun, we will avoid Pot 4 and give ourselves the chance of a winnable away game somewhere like Bordeaux, La Rochelle, Bath or Cardiff. The teams in Pot 2 won't be easy but there'll probably be a couple in there that wouldn't necessarily have you bricking yourself like Lyon and Gloucester (I don't want to go back there though, we've failed to ruin their %&£*ing day on too many occasions).
I suppose the easiest thing to do is just win the Pro14 and get ourselves into Pot 1.

Pot 3 is all right.
We've qualified to play big guns. We will. Very thin difference between the 3 favorite pots. And if we do ok, we will win at least once vs Pot 4 team

Pinky, ‘Cardiff’ does that no make the assumption that they will beat Ospreys in the last conference game and then beat Edinburgh in the 7th place playoffs?

Can we start talking about who we'd like to get/avoid?

Just want to avoid Toulouse from France - played them too often
Definitely dont want to play Saracens or Gloucester again.

Would be ok getting Clermont or Racing (from an away trip perspective)
I'd be happy going to Northampton or Bath as well

And then perhaps Edinburgh or Cardiff from the Pro 14

Sarries would be nice.
We have had two memorable games, one we came short, one we were smashed.
Same for Exeter in a lesser extent

Clermont yes, La Rochelle too (probably qualified through Champions Cup anyway)
Lyon would be cool too.

Please, not Allianz Park. One trip there a few years back, a nightmare trip, especially for Bret Wilkinson. Worst home support I've had the misfortune to come across. Not in the least bit welcoming or friendly. As for the signage around the stadium exclaiming "Respect" etc etc, .Give me 'Quinns or Gloucester (despite a few awful results) any day!

Going to the Sportsgrounds is a bit like Mass:You stay until the players are off the pitch and never leave early!

Can't say anything bad about Saracens supporters myself. Gentlemen to a t when they were over here a few years ago.

If the Premiership and Top14 tables stay as they are and the knockouts go with seedings then most likely we would have one of Toulouse/Clermont/Lyon and one of Exeter/Saracens/Gloucester. In that case I think I'd prefer Exeter and Lyon. Nice trips plus Lyon didn't even manage a bonus point in Europe this season so they are the team to get from that pot. Let's hope they stay ahead of Racing in third spot and win their barrage so they don't end up in our pot.
As a few people have said, it would be great to play in the La Defense Arena but on the other hand I can't see us winning there so maybe we can just pop in there as neutrals on the way home from somewhere else :-)

Champions Cup Play-Off

Ospreys (A4) and Scarlets (B4) will compete in the Champions Cup Play-Off and a provisional date has been identified and will be confirmed by PRO14 Rugby in due course. PRO14 Rugby will need to take account of whether an additional eighth Champions Cup place might be available were Leinster to win the European tournament and all four Challenge Cup Semi-Finalists have already qualified through their domestic leagues.

www.pro14rugby.org/2019/04/27/guinness-p...mi-finals-confirmed/

Reading between the lines there, it seems that if Saracens win the Champions Cup, the playoff will be the following weekend (there is a TBC game in the fixture list for that weekend), and if Leinster win, they will have another meeting to decide what happens :-)
Both Sale and La Rochelle now look good for Top 6 and they can both take a big step towards it next week, but it is not possible that it will be confirmed either way by the scheduled play-off date. They do seem to have ruled out the possibility of Cardiff being involved though (under last season's rules they would have been entitled to a home play-off against Scarlets).
