Starting to worry about next season already
We were pin of our collar qualifying for the CC this year whilst playing in the Challenge Cup, losing a TH that's going to a premiership club and replacing him with a reserve from the league below is not progress.
You'd hope McAllister can bring something to the party but he's had problems with injuries in the past.
Only upside is the teams around us don't really seem to be strengthening either, though Osprey will surely be stronger next year with Anscombe in and a bit more stability.

Totally agree. Llyod and Kerrins will be used too, when Marmion is with Ireland. Not confident. Hope Kenny steps up...

Kerins looked good for the U20s a few years back but not seen much of him (any?) since.
Think we might see one more signing, which must surely be a back 3 player. Hopefully someone good.

Edit: I'm not sure this is just a Connacht problem though, looks like all (bar Ulster) of the pro14 teams are struggling for signings. At a guess I'd think the Premiership teams are flush with their new private equity deal and are hovering up all available talent, which isn't generally plentiful in the year before a world cup anyway.

We will definitely see one as friend said there is an NIQ coming in. I also think we will see another IQ as I don't believe Kerins is seen as a new signing factoring in he is only moving from the academy/, and fried said two weeks ago 3 new signings to be announced.

I'd imagine the Niq would be announced to coincide with the start of season ticket sales.

Slightly underwhelmed - thought we would have our toes in the water for a slightly more high profile NIQ signing especially given the fact we are back in the Heineken Cup and the whole line that when in that we can attract more high profile players. Hope it works out for John and he proves to be a great signing.

I hope he's a goodun. If he scores I hope we play gimme shelter

Very underwhelmed but Friend hasn't let us down yet. This guy could be great only time will tell.

I'm ok with this signing. Had a look at some of his highlights and he looks a brilliant athlete and finisher.
If you're going to get a player from 7s then wing is where you want them. Have a hopeful feeling he might be a great signing for us

If that's it for the signings then so be it, would have liked more but we've some good quality and it's up to the new/academy lads to show there is real strength in depth.
Need a few bolters like Boyle to step up and stake claims for starting spots. On that point I liked to look of Joe Maksymiw against Munster but can't help but think he need to add some bulk. Just think he looks a bit soft for a second row and that if he could pack on 5kg of extra muscle it would really add something to his game.

I think we can put the HOUSE on Porch being a success
