The Connacht Clan are saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Leighton Turner. Leighton was a founder and served as first President of the Connacht Clan.

The thoughts of the Committee of the Connacht Clan, and of the great Connacht Rugby family, are with Leightons friends and family, and especially with his brother Aaron who served a Committee Member for many years.

Congratulations to Leinster and Cardiff Blues on securing a double for the Pro14 in Europe.

Leinster and Cardiff

Leinster overcame Racing 15-12 in a campaign that saw them beat the top 2 teams in both the Premiership and Top14 on their way to Champions Cup glory in Bilbao.

Meanwhile Cardiff Blues completed a dramatic fightback against Gloucester to win 31-30 on Friday night and claim the Challenge Cup.

Looking forward to coming up against them both next season.
