The €30 ones around the 22 (block 37 or 42) look alright.
You can get right on halfway up front for €40 but they look pretty exposed if you get a drop of rain.

I swear the rugby clubs of Europe are engaged in a little competition to see who can come up with the most convoluted way of buying a feckin pint:

The irony of the sign above the machine transcends language.

So where will most of the Clan be buying tickets for? Those token machine for food and drinks seem a bit of a nuisance but can be handy for getting beer faster at least as no faffing about with change etc so hopefully beer queues will be quick. Was at a festival before that used them just have to make sure to not get more tokens than u need as stuck with them then!

Seat map

The seat map on ticketmaster is quite detailed looks like Tribune de Face may be slightly better as Tribune Presidentielle likely has all the hardcore noisy Begles fans judging by the large marooned out section there! Altho Galway fans may feel at home that side!

Tribune de Face is also the side of the press/commentators so we can make some noise for the Galway Bay stream perhaps. I would be up for Category 2 green section somewhere! Seems apt?! So 33 or 34 or 39B or 40B?

Note best prob not to buy tiks via ticketmaster given the booking fees but handy for checking out the seat map in more detail.

do we go press side, or do we try be behind the team dugout ?

This link is from the UBB own website, Billetterie / Tickets
it's not ticketmaster

to set up account to purchase.

use 33000 as post code,
use 06 followed by 8 digits, it doesn't accept an Irish mobile, as we don't have the same number of digits in our numbers.
and use France as country

As someone who works in internationalizing websites, I can say it's a crap design.

I was able to buy on their website using my Irish details (including phone number). I didn't need to register in advance though I did need to provide a password as well as email when completing the purchase (so assume an account was setup in the background).

Check you are selecting "Ireland" as the country when putting in your details maybe?

The seat map on the UBB site is better to see availability. I think the marooned out sections are just categories of tickets because there is a ton of available seats in the Tribune Presidentielle (in fact it seems quite available all over at this stage it looks like)

Plenty of seats together in Tribune de Face so we could take over a block there. 39B and 40B look good. Not so many available together behind the dugout on far side.

I thought that we were going to all book in Block 40B!? Has the plan changed!? Lots of seats available there... better if we were all together (4 of us going)...

Rugby is a game for big buggers. if you’re not a big bugger, you get hurt. I wasn’t a big bugger but i was a fast bugger and therefore I avoided the big buggers. ........ Spike Milligan
