Should be a straightforward flight to Birmingham for most people from Shannon (Aer Lingus), Knock (FlyBE) or Dublin (Ryanair/Aer Lingus). Short enough hop on the train from there.
I'm sure some of ye are veterans of Connacht's last competitive victory on English soil at Sixways in December 2009 and can give us all the advice we need to recreate the occasion.

I've taken a gamble and took advantage of a ryanair flash sale. Going out Fri 12,returning Sun 14.If the ERC decide to be hoares and play it on the Thursday or Sunday I'm banjacked. €80 return for 3 with pre-booked seats , Hotel €120 B&B Holiday Inn, €40 car hire with additional access insurance.
Lots of hotel deals still on offer, just make sure they have free cancellation / pay on arrival option.
All but flights are OK to cancel 24 hrs without charge.

Going to the Sportsgrounds is a bit like Mass:You stay until the players are off the pitch and never leave early!

I think the fixtures were announced last year, the day after the last round of games.

Will the French teams have any interest in this competition at that stage?

If it's on a Saturday I do not think it will not be on TV.
It will either be a Friday or Sunday.
I hate Sunday games. I'm hoping for Friday or Saturday game.

I'm hoping to go.
Just need to sort out work, are people staying in Worcester?

this will be one of the easiest ones to get to, from Ireland in any case,
frequent trains from Birmingham, and Birmingham Airport, via Brum New Street
Reasonably frequent service from Bristol too, for people who can use the Ryanair from Knock flights

It's also pretty handy to railsail from Dublin,

Booked 4.99 flights out Friday night, back Sunday morning. If match is Saturday, all good. If match is any other day, only have to change one flight and only down 4.99.

Looking at the list there is a good chance this will be one of the more marketable fixtures of the round, so may be on the telly box, which is good news if you're not travelling but makes hard to predict.
It could bring the Thursday into play (we're bound to get caught sooner or later). That said they don't always seem to pick the most mouthwatering fixture for the Thursday night (e.g. Gloucester v Agen in Round 2). There's only one Sunday fixture in the Challenge Cup for the first four rounds and Warriors website has it down for Thurs-Sat, seemingly ruling out Sunday but I don't think we can read a lot into that.
They seem to favour Friday nights for home games, a few Saturdays, rarely Sundays.

I had a chat with the nice people at Six Ways recently ;if past matches are anything to go by the chance of a Thursday evening is as likely as the Sportsgrounds hosting the Rugby World Cup final. Thursday is more likely for an Italian/ French fixture. Sundays is also unlikely, but saying that they had one 10 or so years ago. I banking on a Saturday.... Thursday or Sunday would truly feck up my trip as it a Christmas present to 3 of my lads!
Start checking out hotels as prices are starting to rise. Car hire is possibly cheaper than trains etc. Currently half price on ryanair.

They played a Thursday home game the year before last. It all depends on what the broadcasters want.

They're not on sale on the Warriors Web site as the match day has not being finalised. That'll be done probably next week.
