Hi guys, 3 weeks ago I couldn't resist to a last ticket offer, so I'm back again :woohoo:  :silly:
The way we will play is more important than the table consequences,
So I'm hounoured to open this match thread by a simple piece of advice to the boys: Enjoy your game, and make us proud !!

Will be interesting without toh at fullback. Hopefully Rowland can step up.

if Boschof is back I'd play him at Full Back if Tiernan is out, I'm quietly confident of a win, Leinster have a few injuries and after winning at the weekend they can afford to send a weaker team than expected

Would like to see Rowland given another chance at fullback. Would like to see Brennan given just ONE chance on the wing. Would like to see a ronaldson/Farrell combo at centre. Would like to see cannon and roux second row. And I really , really think we need delahunt to start. He is an absolute monster and needed for that alone

I would really rather we threw everything at this one. Beating Leinster could really boost confidence and lift the mood of players and fans alike. We need a big win, haven't beaten a top 6 side since Ulster at the start of the season.

Rowland will start out of necessity. Brennan is young he'll get his chance next year. Cannon or Browne is a toss up, would stick with Browne myself. No way should we drop Aki for this one. Send him running at Noel Reid all day. Totally agree on Delahunt.

Hi
I take it they are for the standing area of the main stand and not inside the enclosed area.

I'll take them how much?

thanks

Injury update that's far more Connacht-like:

Tom McCartney (ankle) will undergo surgery this week on the ankle he injured v Edinburgh and will return to training in the pre-season.

JP Cooney (shoulder) will be monitored this week following a minor shoulder injury sustained in the Edinburgh game.

Ronan Loughney (arm) underwent surgery last week on the arm he injured in training prior to the Zebre game and will be out of action for the remainder of the season.

James Connolly will integrate into training with the squad this week following his hamstring injury.

Stacey Ili (ankle) will undergo surgery this week on the ankle he injured v Zebre and will return to training in the pre-season.

Darragh Leader will integrate into training with the squad this week following his hamstring injury.

I suppose it would be presumptuous to jump to the conclusion that if he's training in the pre-season, he'll still be here for the actual season?

So I guess the selection calls are:

- Delahunt or Heffernan?
- Who of Browne, Roux, and Cannon is on the bench?
- Does McKeon come in at 6 or 7?
- Crosbie or Carty?
- Farrell or Ronaldson?
- Poolman or Rowland on the wing?
- Who covers back row from the bench?
- Blade or Cooney at 21?

SOB has to play, so Heenan or McKeon at 7 and the other on the bench. I'd go for Crosbie & Farrell and Blade over Cooney. No preference otherwise.
