Sorry not relevant to the game but I've been wondering what the story is with Connolly this season. Seems strange for a near 24 year old who has looked good at professional level to be playing AIL 2A.
With regards to the game, it'd be nice to see a full strength team to help build continuity and form, but playing 4 weeks in a row would be a big ask especially for guys with a lot of minutes already this year, so we'll probably see a good bit of rotation.

Connolly is currently higher development and moves on to a full senior contract next season when he will have to change club to 1A/1B.

This is the game in hand we've been waiting for. Treviso's win over Ospreys last week was a timely wakeup call that the Italians at home can on occasion give you difficulties. We witnessed this back in September in Parma ourselves before the weather got us out of jail.
Having said that we seem in one of our better moments in terms of the season. Looking at Cardiff's run in, I'd put them down for 11 or maybe 14 points max. Next two games we want to push out our advantage over them to leave us free to rotate ahead of the play offs.
Open to correction but don't think we've ever collected the full set of points against the Italians sides in a season, would be nice to tick that off the list on Saturday.

From the Connacht Rugby website
Did you know?
This original match on 17 September was abandoned at half time with Connacht leading 22-10.
Just wondering if Donald Trump's team have started working for Connacht Rugby because that's not the way I remember it.

Howye.
Reliable sourced told the Clan that the match was going to be on Eurosport. it's not, sadly. The snooker is on. So: no match event on the day!
Apologies for the confusion.

Yep, that's what got us. It's advertised on some spots as being shown on Eurosport, but their website shows snooker and their match page says something along the lines of "join us here for regular updates from the ground", i.e. "we'll aggregate twitter feeds!"
