I rang the branch yesterday to claim my free pair of tickets.
After being told the game was sold out, i decide that I'd head to the ground today.
The game actually isn't sold out, tickets available in enclosed, seated stand, clan hospitality and behind both posts.
So when I tried to claim the tickets today, in person, i was told that the limit was reached on free tickets for this game. Yes it's the last game, i wonder how many people got stung by this, never before heard of limit.
I can't see it in the term and conditions in last year's season ticket advertising.
I asked if the game didn't sell out, could I claim my tickets. (Leave name and pick them up at game).. I was told that wasn't possible.
Wouldn't a proper full house be a huge advantage to the players for the last game rather than turning away season ticket holders who are entitled to there tickets, very short sighted chasing the €€€

I’m glad you brought this up! I had a similar experience, went looking for my two friend tickets yesterday to be told that that "we've reached our capacity for that offer and we don’t have any left to give out". Straight up one line, no apology, nor nothing! Made me feel like I was begging for something that to be honest I’ve already paid for!

Now, to be fair, I did leave it late and it is in the terms and conditions that they can limit the tickets for any one match, but I don’t think it’s been handled very well.

Lesson learned, and a little bit of good will eroded!

I rang up yesterday morning & got the same response Swift4prez & Enrico. Seems to be a trend forming here. Not good to see our beloved Connacht Branch following the money!

Call the office if your ticket hasn't arrived yet. They'll sort you out with a paper ticket at the gate. Like Sol mine arrived on Tuesday.

I got mine on Tuesday. I think if you get onto the branch they'll email you a ticket to print out.

Like that received mine on Tuesday. Nearly sure I read that anyone that purchased their tickets in the first window would have them before the Bristol match. Others after that would be sent a link to print their tickets.

Should have received mine this week as purchased back in March. The branch directed me to tickets.ie on 01-8899950. Called earlier and waiting for them to email a ticket for the Bristol match.

My arrived yesterday TG,
The automatic response from the email I sent on Wednesday Evening to the Season Ticket , said " they will respond within 72hrs. - I am still waiting for a response. Anyone who needs a printed ticket - good luck emailing them as directed .

No joy for me. Said they would send me an eTicket but never did.
Will probably be able to sort it on the gate, but might be on the lookout for a freebie if anyone is throwing one away :-)

I renewed my family season tickets on the 14th of March and still have not received them.
After numerous frustrating calls to the front desk at Connacht Rugby and tickets.ie, I was finally e-mailed replacements to print out for today's game. I fully accept that every now and again S**T happens but the way tickets.ie seem to be dealing with the situation is farcical at best and the point of contact inside Connacht Rugby simply doesn't seem to care about any issues people are having. His response is simply that they outsourced match ticketing to tickets.ie and it's not their problem any more. Like many of you here I've been a Connacht season ticket holder for many years and I genuinely couldn't speak highly enough of the organisation but surely somebody needs to step up and sort out current ticketing issues and stop passing the buck.

Wondering if I'm alone in thinking the "gift pack" is particularly weak and pitiful offering and perhaps a little patronising. I acknowledge it is a gift but I would prefer they don't worry about a gift pack if it is so badly thought out.
A notebook and pen, if I need these I will already have one suitable to my needs. Car freshener I thought went out in the late 80's. The whole thing seems so retro. Perhaps next year they could give 8-track cassette tapes!
I know the gift pack is meant to be little gesture and I know I sound ungrateful, but I would prefer no gift than something so badly and carelessly thought out, and patronizing.
Can understand a scarf would put them in a little conflict with their marketing partners. But even a simple laminated fixture list card would have been of greater use to plan weekends/ family events around the games - they might even get more ticket sales for in it.
A decent sized Connacht car sticker ( without the silly "I'm a season ticket holder" motif) would have been welcome.
Have to sign off now as I'm away to put my Connacht notebook into a drawer where it will be found in five years time and thrown in the bin.
